Tarot Anyone? @ Tuesday, Jun. 08, 2004

This is from tarot.com. They let you pick and find out the meaning of the first three cards for free but after you pick the remaining eight, they want three bucks. For a tarot reading online? No thanks. But I thought some of the free results were interesting.

The Sun
Position:
Self
Main (positional) Meaning:
You are in the right place at the right time.

The card in the Self position reveals aspects of how you perceive yourself right now.

The Sun in this position symbolizes a return to Eden, a return to your original nature. This is the card of the person who is expressing the highest creativity and doing her or his best work. Your motives, outlook and beliefs are all synchronized. There are no hidden motives, nagging doubts or fear of the outcome. Relax, look around and enjoy the wonderful view from the center of your universe.

Three of Cups
Position:
Situation
Main (positional) Meaning:
You should be able to notice a trend toward cooperation and harmony among those around you.

The card that lands in the Situation position refers to social or circumstantial factors which could be affecting your life at this time.

When the Three of Cups is in this position, you are privileged with the opportunity to see people overcome their differences, reuniting along the lines of their mutual best interests. Not only is this a wonderful sight to behold, it's also worthy of encouragement and nurturing.

The environment becomes sweeter as people begin to appreciate each other. Feelings of safety, bonding and mutual admiration prevail. Mutual appreciation is the most effective style of interaction -- where everybody gets his or her needs met and receives plenty of acknowledgment. It's encouraging to see this trend emerge in your immediate environment.

Two of Wands
Position:
Challenges/ Opportunities
Main (positional) Meaning:

If you use breaks in the action to rest yourself and refresh your awareness, you will be strengthened.

The card that lands in the Challenges/Opportunities position refers to ways that you can turn obstacles into stepping stones.

The Two of Wands in this position provides a challenge to learn to use down time productively. Creativity requires leisure. There is no available energy for forward progress at this time anyway, so rest and restore yourself.

Rather than waste time during such an opportunity, use it for contemplative relaxation or meditation. Don't worry about how to orchestrate things just yet; just open yourself to the sights, sounds and realities of the situation as it is. This will put you in a more favorable position when the time for action arrives.
